FINALLY! Golgo has reappeared in Rice Boy, and I'm hoping he'll stick around for a little while now. 8) Maybe another showdown between him and TOE? You wouldn't hear me complaining!
I don't know really how close that comic is to being done - it still seems like so much more has to happen! But unless there's a sudden obstruction or turnaround it seems that Rice Boy is pretty close to fulfilling his destiny. Either way, I hope Evan writes more stories in that universe - there's so much to talk about. I DEMAND MOAR.
These ficlets are hilarious - the author took prompts where people gave two characters, and she would write one of them as a dragon mentally bonded to the other. XD She got some pretty awesome duos - Vetinari and Vimes (hellooooo you are my faaaavoriiiiite), Tamaki and Kyouya, Clark and Lex... They're so cute. <3
Also, this video is amazing and all around epic, oh my God. It portrays PROTEIN SYNTHESIS by DANCE and it is so awesome and seventies that I can barely handle it.
Also, my wonderful friend Alex-zk wrote Hidan fic. <333 Twenty True Cruelties, and it's basically totally ASTOUNDING lksjaf. I'm still not really able to form coherent words about it, only there's lots of slash and violence and gore and... it's all around just incredible. *___* I love it. So much.
...Hopefully this weekend more of the IZ fanfic100 challenge will arrive, and moar Hidan/Yugito and crossdressing Hidan. <3

Anyway, this was something that was originally going to be ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) intallah's KakuHidan gift fic, but it very obviously lacks: KAKUHIDAN. I found it again yesterday and typed it up tonight, because I kind of liked it on the reread.
Anyway yeah it's a little cliche, ahaha, kind of one of those "redeem terrible villains by having them be nice to little kids!" things. Although neither one of them is actually really nice. So.

Oh, oh, and: a trailer for the BotI anime! Pretty poor quality recording (it was taped off of another video screen, ha ha) but we get Manji and Rin and Magatsu and Anotsu's pretty face.

Woah. So... woah. This is disorienting (they look so clean!).
Also, Alex-zk wrote Akatsuki road trip crack! :D Go read it: On the Road. Pein/Konan and Kakuzu/Itachi/Kisame, yeah you heard that right.
Itachi was wandering around in the trees beside the tourist center. His partner had presented him with a sort of hokey plastic walking stick from the gift shop. “It’s for blind guys, you know, so they can swish it around and be sure they’re on the trail. Do you want to use it?”
“No.” The answer had been simple and polite, and the man had very considerately taken the receipt and back to the register himself and gotten a refund for the gift. Kakuzu felt that he was becoming emotionally attached to this team. It was so different from his own. It was everything a team ought to be. Orderly and adult. It was almost as good as being alone.
